We are equipped to undertake any skin surgery that does not require a general anaesthetic. All surgical procedures are carried out using local anaesthetic to carefully numb the area. Surgery is undertaken by Dr Dirk Venter, who has undergone extensive postgraduate training, specifically in the management of skin cancer. It is our aim to ensure the safest and most appropriate surgical care for every patient, in the kindest way possible. 

Some skin lesions may require an initial biopsy to confirm the diagnosis, which can often be undertaken on the day of your appointment. Larger or more complex procedures (such as wide excisions, skin grafts or flaps) are undertaken at designated times.
